Mystery of the pink nylon bone

I have a bone, a pink nylon one to be exact. Mummy got it for me to chew on during my free time. It's good for my teeth she says.

So what's so mysterious about this pink nylon bone you may ask.

Well, over the past week, both daddy and mummy have been searching high and low for it but to no avail. They've exhausted every inch and corner of the room but still can't find the bone. The whole situation has got them quite baffled to say the least. And I enjoyed every moment of it. *sniggers*

Unknowing to them, I've hidden it in true dachshund style under my little home. I would occassionally parade out with the missing bone in my mouth and enjoy every moment of their shocked faces. And then as suddenly ensure that the bone disappears from their sight.

Mummy did suspect that I was the culprit behind the missing bone. but had no evidence to prove it. Until one fine day...

Exposed! Daddy catches me in action of burying the bone... =X

On a separate note, there was one day when I had no idea what I was doing dragging Baldy Pig through my pee and across the room. As a result, Baldy pig had to go into the laundry.

From the looks of it, Baldy pig sure has grooveeee.. =P

Baldy pig looks very happy about going to be washed, in fact he looks like he's doing a little dance.

Hi, Reina.
So you do the same thing I do with your bone! If we don't eat them, we have to bury them!
Do you like your Baldy Pig clean and without your scent??
Have a nice day

Mr Bacon had it coming, he was too squeaky clean. Piggies aren't supposed to smell nothing, how else would we be able to track them down? Wild boars don't smell like laundry.

Happy barks,

Hi Reina,

It's just us again. Mommy gives us all cow hooves to help keep our teath cleam but we like to hide them from her...so she can give us another one real fast....hehehehe! Then when her back is turned we pull them all out of our hiding places and have them all over the floor...she hasn't been able to find out just where they are hidden and we sure aren't telling.

Every Sunday Mommy takes all of our blankets away from us to wash and we don't like that...all our smells are gone. Jacks usually runs off with his and trys to hide it but she always finds it.It's just not fair, we work all week on getting them just right and chewed up and then she has the nerve to wash them. Shame on Mommy !!

love......Mona, Jacks, Toby and Bradley too!!

Hey Reina,
I love to hide my toys too. In fact, I just killed a cockroach for Mom last evening and wanted to hide it somewhere to I could present to her another time. But the hoomans stopped me. Sheesh.
hehe...Poor Baldy Pig..he's going to smell quite different when you get your paws on him.

Geepers, just when you get Baldy Pig to smell like you want him, they have to wash him!

I have to tell you a story about my older sister Holly. She has passed away now but whenever she was given a treat or a bone or a new toy, she HAD to bury it first before she could eat it, or chew on it. She would walk around with it in her mouth searching diligently for an appropriate place to bury it and would sometimes bury it several times before she was satisfied with the job she had done. Once it was was buried to her satisfaction for .... a minute ...she could have it.

Excellent burying skills!!! Way to fool the hoomans!

Baldy pig probably smells so gross after his bath. Everything smells better when covered in pee.
